Slack is an Online Messaging App, mostly used for businesses for collaboration and communication.

The Pinewood Lake Pole Hill neighborhood has implemented a Slack server for our neighborhood as another means of communication.

Emergency Communications – This is the default channel; everyone gets added to this automatically. This is where we would post weather alerts or have communications about pending natural disasters or emergencies.

Email communications@plwag.org to be invited.

But it's not just for emergencies:

We have added several additional channels to enable

  • Announcements & Events – This is where PLWAG will post information like the upcoming Slash Burn event, or training events like this. If you are hosting an event and want to invite the community this is where you would do that.

  • Colorado Outdoors – This is where the community can talk about our great neighborhood in the mountains, post pictures of our local critters or sunrise/sunsets.

  • Cooking – You made an amazing smoked Brisket or want to share or need a recipe, post here.

  • Disaster Prep – You have information to share about preparing for a disaster, or have questions about disaster prep, post here.

  • Homesteading & Gardening – Want to share a photo of your year's bounty, or have questions about gardening, post here.

  • Random & Social – Post a funny pic, introduce yourself, just general chat.

Community Rules

  • We are here first for making sure our community is safe, second for fun, so please be respectful toward others and use common sense.

Messages are archived after 90-days under the free version of Slack.
