Help Build a More Resilient Larimer County!

Larimer County is no stranger to challenges, and building a strong, prepared community is key to navigating future uncertainties. That's why the Larimer County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) has launched its 2025 Community Resilience Survey, and they need your input!

Take the Larimer County Community Resilience Survey today!

This vital survey is designed to gather community perspectives on what makes us resilient and how we can better prepare for and recover from disasters. By participating, you'll be directly contributing to programs that enhance social connection and preparedness efforts across the county.

What does "resilience" mean in this context? It's about our community's ability to bounce back, adapt, and thrive in the face of adversity. This survey specifically focuses on areas like:

  • Social Connectivity: How connected are you to your neighbors, friends, and family?

  • Community Culture & Leadership: What are the strengths of our community, and how effective are our local leaders in fostering preparedness?

  • Engagement & Trust: How involved are you in community activities, and how much trust do you have in local institutions?

Why is this important? Research consistently shows that connected communities are more resilient. When we know our neighbors, trust our leaders, and engage with our community, we are better equipped to support each other before, during, and after a crisis. For example, the survey includes questions that gauge neighborhood trust and social interaction, highlighting the importance of these relationships in times of need.

Ready to make a difference?

The survey is open until October 31, 2025. As a thank you for your participation, you'll have the opportunity to win one of three prizes, including a $50 Scheels Gift Card or emergency kit-related items, by providing your email address in the preparedness section.

Your feedback is invaluable and will directly inform how Larimer OEM shapes programs to improve disaster outcomes for everyone.
