The Pinewood Lake Wildfire Action Group is working with the Larimer County Office of Emergency Management to present a free "How to Prepare for Everything" class on Saturday, April 26.

We are offering free breakfast burritos and sub sandwiches that day, as well as a chance to learn more about preparing (or updating) your Go Bag, communicating with neighbors in an emergency, and asking emergency professionals any questions you might have about what they do to help us during a crisis.

We have room for more people, so we're hoping you'll join us for the workshop from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

If you cannot make the workshop, we hope you'll have time to stop by the neighborhood information tables from 9:30-10 a.m. and/or 12:30-1 p.m. The tables will be outside, and staffed by Pinewood residents who work with you one-on-one to help you:

  • access the Pinewood emergency-radio system

  • use various apps during an emergency

  • sign up to get PLWAG information

  • use our Pinewood website

  • set up a Buddy system with your neighbors

  • AND ask questions about fire mitigation, evacuation, and communication

If you wish to attend the workshop, we'd love to know in advance, so we can set up the right number of tables.  Email us at communications@plwag.org
